Dr. Alicia Journey is the founder and visionary behind The Purposeful Rebel, a movement dedicated to helping individuals reclaim their power, embrace their duality, and live authentically through harnessing their own sacred sensuality. As a gifted channel, a former U.S. Supreme Court attorney, and a holistic doctor, Dr. Journey bridges the worlds of the sacred and the sensual, offering a transformative space for empowerment and healing.
Dr. Journey’s life has been defined by resilience, transformation, and a deep connection to the unseen. Raised in a rigid, cult-like purity-centered religious community, she grew up in a world that suppressed self-expression and shamed individuality. Despite these constraints, she forged a path as a REBEL, breaking free from societal norms to live a life of authenticity and purpose.
Dr. Journey’s professional career is as diverse as it is remarkable. By 21, she had left California to pursue her dream of working on Capitol Hill, serving as a legislative analyst for top-ranking members of Congress and Senate while attending law school. Over the years, she became a U.S. Supreme Court attorney, a state and federal prosecutor, founded non-profit and hollistic law firm dedicated to supporting survivors of abuse and their families.
But Dr. Journey’s most profound transformations occurred beyond the courtroom. After enduring years of debilitating trauma, complex PTSD, and life-threatening health challenges, she experienced a near-death event that changed everything. in 2013, after suffering a fatal grandmaul seizure, Dr. Journey was technically dead for 6.5 minutes. On the other side, many truths were revealed. This experience awakened something deeper within her—a renewed sense of purpose and a clear channel to higher wisdom.
